You don’t need to strap solar panels to your chest and sunbathe in your garden to be a good person, says health bar brand Perkier. You just need a snack bar that’s super dedicated to doing you and the planet good, while being seriously tasty. Perkier only uses ingredients that are plant-based and nutritionist-approved - full of protein, fibre, vitamins, energy, good for your gut and so much more - packaged with 100% recyclable materials, carbon neutral, committed to no palm oil, and because they’re a British business, donate to food banks up and down the UK. In fact there are so many reasons that Perkier bars really are so good, you don’t have to be.

The campaign taps into the moments of people who desperately take wellness and sustainability to the extreme with hilarious consequences. As anyone who’s tried to make an obnoxiously red or green smoothie can relate to, wellness is rarely easy. Or tasty. But thankfully, there’s Perkier. Now we don’t need to try so hard to make blended beetroot taste like… well, not blended beetroot. What’s the opposite of that? Salted caramel and dark chocolate that’s packed with 100% Vitamin D, C & B12 for immunity, and protein-rich. Yeah… we’ll have some of that instead, please.

In a major social and digital campaign, Perkier’s films are launching all over YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and digital platforms. They feature all manner of crazy characters who try far too hard to be good to themselves and the planet. A health-freak mum whose smoothie explodes to the continued embarrassment of her teenage daughter. An unfortunate man who took a few too many leaves from Wim Hof’s book and has plunged himself into a chest freezer for an ice-bath. And a man who has strapped solar panels to his naked body to sunbathe in the garden. Thankfully that last one was shot prior to the 40.3 degree heatwave.

This is the first major campaign for independent British challenger brand Perkier. Ann and Steve (whose last names “Perkins” and “Turner” come together to form “Perkier”) built the brand from scratch with the vision of the best snack possible for you, and the environment too - and they are seriously raising the bar.

The creative platform and campaign was created and produced by 10 Days London, directed by Jolyon White and produced by George White, with bespoke music written by Dominic White. The media was handled by ROAST.

Perkier founder Ann Perkins comments: “Consumers are increasingly looking for sustainable, healthy brands that are tasty, convenient, and affordable. They are fed up with brands green washing; instead, they seek transparency. At Perkier, every bar we make tastes good, does you good, and doesn’t mess up the planet. But we’re not preachy - we want to entertain our audience so they know there is a better choice. Massive perky thanks to the awesome 10 Days London - creative, collaborative, and no faff! We’re super excited to launch our major campaign across digital platforms, with the support of ROAST our perky media partners.”

10 Days co-founder and creative director Jolyon White adds: “As many brands make vacuous attempts to appear more sustainable by just being recyclable, it was refreshing to discover that every single detail of Perkier is designed to be good for you and the planet. We all know the world of wellness and sustainability takes itself far too seriously, so we wanted to set the brand apart and inject some Perkier playfulness & humour into the campaign.”

Perkier bars will be stocked at Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Asda, Ocado, Amazon, and other nationwide food service suppliers.
