Interactive retail startup, Perch, has hired Aarra, the first ever “ digital production matchmaker,” to run their entire North American new business operations. Aarra will be Perch's exclusive U.S. representation not only for ad agencies, but also for direct brands.
PERCH has broken ground in the past year by offering consumers a full-sensory shopping experience in brick-and-mortar stores with its hardware-software platform that turns retail surfaces into dynamic, hands-on interactive displays. It surrounds products with digital media, enabling brands to extend their marketing campaigns into retail spaces and specifically into the immediate context of their products on display. Shoppers are encouraged to touch and pick up the products in front of them. Upon doing so, they are rewarded with both beautiful and useful digital content, such as product details, text, videos, user reviews and social media.
Founded in June 2012, Perch Interactive has already made a huge splash in the interactive retail space, garnering significant media attention and clients such as Cole Haan, Kiehl’s, BaubleBar, Nexxus, Woolite and New York City-based retail concept STORY.

This strategic partnership will grow Aarra’s portfolio and will allow Aarra to go direct to brand with its digital capabilities and offerings, as well as strengthen its relationships with retail brands.
