Pensacola’s latest advert for giffgaff is the latest film to launch from the brand’s extremely successful ‘hey you’ campaign platform.
The last instalment of the campaign’s manifesto brought people together with a crazy mashup of images that surprised and entertained as they transmitted the brand’s message. In this new film, Pensacola has followed and evolved this school of thought, incorporating the idea of FLYING, being free and looking at things from a new perspective.
This commercial continues to envisage the giffgaff brand in a new way, pushing the visuals and surprising an audience that doesn’t conform, doesn’t sit and wait, but that reaches for new ways to understand mobile.
Pensacola, directors of ‘Join us,’ say: "giffgaff gives us a lot of creative freedom, and that is amazing for us. We wanted to experiment with the concept of flying as freedom, playing with comedy and effects. We wanted to push the concept of the "Hey you” campaign to another level with a fast pace and interesting transitions, in a film where energy is the key."
