Summer campaign expresses many reasons people visit the wildlife park

London-based production company, Pavilion Works, and creative agency, Lovers, unveil their most recent collaboration, ‘I wanna go to Longleat’.

With an undoubtedly catchy song, penned by Lovers, this 30 second piece expresses the many reasons the public would want to visit this quirky Somerset attraction.

Leading the charge is Pavilion Works' talented director, Louis Bryant, who makes his first foray into TVCs with this project. Louis’s expertise shines through as he skilfully navigates the delicate balance between comedic performances and visually captivating moments, creating a memorable and engaging spot for Longleat.

"We loved Lover’s concept, and so appreciated the trust they gave us to explore some silly ideas. The goal was to get people to feel that same sense of curiosity and excitement they did as a child. We landed creating little vignettes that personified the lyrics, pairing them with fun moves and lens choices. Our standout scene was the shot of the kid on the parent’s back, mirroring the koala and its joey, which was one of the simplest moments in the film. We found balancing high energy moments with a few paired back created space for them all to sing.

Jumping into post always opens up the door for some new opportunities, and working closely with an editor you trust provides some welcome fresh perspective. For this one, I worked with Sam Hardy at DOMA, we found opportunities to blend some scenes together, namely the ‘Hedge, Maze’ beats, and add some extra length to others. Being open to new ideas throughout a project always gets a stronger result.

This project joined lots of my favourite techniques together, and got to work with a great crew while doing it. Have a watch and let us know what you think!"
