Partizan Welcomes Director Duo Machine Operated

What began as an artistic journey crafting music videos for friends and united by a love for design and imagery, Nathan Taylor and Joshua Hercules officially became Machine Operated in 2018, with a primary focus on reshaping narratives through a distinct visual language. Cementing themselves as one of London’s most exciting talents, their DIY aesthetic coupled with their collaborations with emerging designers have garnered praise worldwide. Their prowess also extends beyond the realm of moving image as they encompass the ability to navigate still campaigns and provide creative direction for fellow artists.

Seamlessly transitioning between commercials and music videos, the dynamic duo recently lent their creative touch to an advert launching the partnership between TikTok and the Cannes Film Festival and have previously collaborated with Coca-Cola and Phillips all while still being an unstoppable force in the world of music videos where they have picked up UKMVA nominations and Vimeo Staff picks working with esteemed artists including MF DOOM, Bakar, 070 Shake, Loyle Carner, Greentea Peng, and Rejjie Snow.
