That Jam have quietly and consistently been making award-winning work that combines their knack for technical craft and outrageous creativity with humour and heart. One glance at the many film festivals they have been selected for includes BAFTA recognised Raindance, Aesthetica, and Edinburgh festivals, and a host of rave reviews. Time and again they achieve the difficult task of balancing beautiful looking work with wit, timing, style and personality.
Their work for brands such as Google, Strongbow, Virgin Games, and Adidas are all varied in scale, scope and staging, yet they all carry hallmarks, which distinctively and deliciously make them inimitable. Their ability to make the ordinary funny, the strange captivating and the bizarre believable is often what makes their work stand out from the crowd, and a must watch minute or so.
Park Village is the perfect home for them to carve a new path within comedy drama, and firmly establish themselves in the worlds of commercials and TV.
That Jam commented: “We feel like we’ve been so lucky in regards to the people that have helped us get to where we are. Each stage of our careers has felt like exploration in how to get our craft to a place that makes us proud. A surprising amount of people were kind enough to give us the chance to hone those skills so we’ve always been drawn to a philosophy of collaboration and teamwork with whoever we work with. So when we first met the team at Park Village I remember us walking out and feeling like a giddy kids who got their first zero budget music video for an artist nobody had ever herd of. We knew we’d found the team that was going help us create careers and not just reels. We’re very excited for the future and I feel lucky to be able to say that in 2020.”
Park Village MD, Tom Webb, added: I've been super impressed by That Jam's effortless humour, stylish execution and technical finesse for some time now and when we first met them it was quickly clear why their films embody so much character, style and personality. We are looking forward to make some outstanding work together!
