Paris played host to the latest leg of The Immortal Awards global tour, with a host of the city’s agencies holding in-house screenings for their creative crews.
Global editor Laura Swinton and European editor Alex Reeves stopped off in the French capital, visiting BBDO, BETC, Dare.Win, DDB, McCann, Publicis, Sid Lee, VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson on a busy two-day visit.
The trip follows on from a successful series of showcases in London, Los Angeles and New York, with stops in Amsterdam and Hamburg starting this week.
The in-house screenings are running in parallel to the international showcases and The Immortal Awards and will continue to head in-house to showcase the inaugural winners reel throughout the summer.
With just four Immortal winners and a further 12 Commendations featured on the reel, the showcase is refreshingly short and packed full of the best international work from last year.
Commenting on the trip, awards director Paul Monan says: “We believe that these screenings are invaluable for creative teams all over the world, who get to see that incredible ideas are being exceptionally executed on every continent. We had a great couple of days in Paris, adding on to a really well-received few days in New York recently. For us, the plan is to continue inspiring as many creatives as we can with our winners reel and we’re looking forward to taking the Immortals to Amsterdam, Hamburg and beyond in the coming weeks.”
