Last year the gaming community learned the hard way that a simple sheet of paper can wield an inordinate amount of power as the indie game ‘Papers Please’ became a surprise break-out hit. And Russian advertising agency Slava have tapped into this insight for a powerful new campaign for financial brand Life Group.
Directed by Rob Chiu and produced by Stink Moscow, features modern and historical vignettes of characters finding their lives blocked by pieces of paper. From partygoers denied entry and a club to a student whose exam results aren’t what she hoped to citizens receiving their call up papers, the spot covers the whole spectrum of life.
