A disinfection tunnel and portable fogger are the starting block for Papaya to get back into filming during the Covid-19 pandemic

Papaya Returns to Filming with Innovative Disinfection Devices

Papaya Films has introduced innovative and highly effective disinfection equipment to all traditional film sets, being the only production house in Europe to take such safety measures. The studio bought a disinfection tunnel and portable fogger, with more devices on the way. Both the solutions are based on the use of mist containing water and stabilised hypochlorous acid, which is a natural substance produced in organisms by white blood cells and one of the most virucidal substances in the world. What is more hypochlorous acid is completely safe, non-toxic to people and environment, hypoallergenic and 100% biodegradable. Atomised during people or equipment disinfection in the tunnel or via portable fogger on locations, accesses even hard-to-reach surfaces. A maximum of 10 seconds inside the cold mist generated in the tunnel is sufficient to completely disinfect skin, clothes and shoes from 90% pathogens including 99,9% of virus SARS-CoV-2.

“Health and safety is and will always remain our priority. Use of these two devices together with the strict following of our safety procedures, allows us today to organise film shoots that are responsible and safe for production teams, co-workers and our partners - says Kacper Sawicki, executive producer Papaya Films.
