The Papaya Internship Programme is a six-month project aimed towards creating career opportunities in the advertising industry for people from disadvantaged and underrepresented groups. All individuals who are socially and/or culturally underrepresented in the industry are invited to participate. Recruitment is being conducted worldwide.
"This programme was created for two reasons. Firstly, to support disadvantaged people on an ad hoc basis, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed for success in their careers. Secondly, to create a safe place for new talent in the production and advertising industry, which remains a hermetic environment," says Justyna Górniak, chief people and sustainability officer at Papaya Films.
The programme is a grassroots initiative headed up by members of the production team and all of Papaya Films. The first stage of the programme will be focused on the needs of individuals from Ukraine. Each selected participant will receive a monthly salary of 4000 PLN gross and health insurance. Papaya Films will also provide language courses, training programmes to support professional development, assistance in relocation, work legalization and the first two months of accommodation paid in full.
Throughout the first edition of the Papaya Films Internship, participants will be given the opportunity to work in: Project Management, CSR, Advertisement Production, Content Creation and much more.
In future editions of the programme, Papaya Films plans to show continued support for further disadvantaged groups in Poland and around the world.
