Global social media agency We Are Social has been appointed by electronics giant Panasonic to create a series of major social media campaigns.
We Are Social will deliver a series of large social projects for Panasonic, including the support of product launches and existing above-the-line activity.
The agency has already managed a socially-led campaign to support the launch of Panasonic’s Lumix TZ40 camera, designed for people who like to travel.
The campaign, which had the strapline ' See the world with the Lumix TZ40', gave 9 Facebook fans the opportunity to be selected as Lumix TZ40 Explorers. Those selected won a Lumix TZ40 which they could use to capture their holidays and could share their great pictures and experiences with the rest of the Facebook community.
Panasonic will continue to run its community management in-house, with strategic and creative support in social content creation from We Are Social.
