Executive Producers Mark O’Sullivan and Harvey Ascott today announced the launch of their new London Based Production company, Dog Eat Dog.
Dog Eat Dog, also known as DED is a group of producers and directors whose defining purpose is to create excellent work for a competitive price.
Mark O’Sullivan, who has spent over two decades in the world of advertising has moved back to London from Los Angeles, where he worked at Believe Media as Global Executive Producer for the past 6 years has said, ‘We saw a gap in the market for a producer led company that can adapt to any financial situation and be agile in today’s environment’.
Mark and Harvey, who met through a mutual friend in Los Angeles in 2014 have an enormous amount of experience between them and saw the opportunity to create a company which will go beyond the traditional production company methods, by incorporating a multi-disciplinary offering comprised of commercial, film and television appealing to agencies, brands and directors.
Alison Cooper, Senior TV Producer at advertising agency FCB Inferno London, said after recently working with DED, ‘’I like working with people who don't fit in the box or stay between the lines, but whose integrity is greater than any rule book and whose loyalty is stronger than blood - Mark and Harvey in a nutshell”.
DED launches with a number of founding clients including Marshall Speakers for which they have just shot a series of campaigns, the first being Marshall Alexa worldwide, which launched last week.
A.M. Sekora, Creative Director at Marshall Headphones commented, ‘DED have consistently elevated every project we’ve created together with their solutions oriented, inspirational way of collaboration. We have continued to challenge each other with each production, pushing boundaries whilst having a great time seeing our ideas come to life together. We wish all success to Dog Eat Dog and look forward to a continued partnership in the coming future’.
They also launch with a roster comprised of five global and award-winning directors including Anders Jedenfors, Jeffrey Darling, Kevin Castanheira, Daniel Skoglund and Paul Dektor along with a network of global partners allowing them access to a much wider net of talent.
They are set to have more signings this month and have just inked their first TV deal, the beginning of exciting things to come.
