Well-loved Organic Grocer, Huckleberry NZ has appointed Chemistry to lead its marketing strategy, creative development and media planning after a competitive pitch.
Huckleberry NZ is Auckland’s largest organic supermarket with several stores located throughout the North Island with plans for expansion.
With the organic sector in New Zealand estimated to be worth around $750 million, industry experts are expecting the demand for organic products to grow as they become cheaper and more accessible in the long term.
New chief executive and co-owner of Huckleberry, Darren Guo says: “Having recently acquired Huckleberry we have huge plans for the future, which includes creating the most memorable and enjoyable grocery shopping experience for New Zealand families.”
“With plans to integrate traditional grocery shopping concepts with modern ideas that are fun for our customers, it was Chemistry’s pitch that really stood out - their enthusiasm for the brand and ideas around how we can bring our dreams to life as a team drove us to partner with them.
Chemistry will be working on the strategic direction of marketing campaigns in order to increase marketing metrics that correlate with sales revenue for Huckleberry.
Chemistry’s client lead Theo Larmer-Cottle says: “We are thrilled to be working with the team at Huckleberry to grow what is an already incredible loyal fanbase, and take them to greater heights.”
Chemistry’s Managing Partner Mel Moss says: “With a big focus on growth and sales, we’ll be taking a distinctive approach to Huckleberry’s marketing strategy, using creative and digital to build on the innovation that already exists within the business.
Chemistry works with some of the country’s leading retail, automotive, financial and consumer brands including Red Rat, Schick Razors, Jaguar Land Rover, State and AMI insurance, St John and Samsung.
