FAMILIA director Adriaan Louw’s new promo for ‘Like I Do’ showcases subtle extravagance in the stunning setting of Chiswick House and Gardens. Adriaan constructs portraiture style set-ups in a number of magnificent rooms; each contrasting dramatically in colour and design, but all equally as regal in style. 

Justin Hamilton’s Raphael Albert and Kwame Brathwaite-inspired styling perfectly balances the cool R&B track and the outrageously beautiful historic building, creating a normalised lifestyle that is simply ‘like she does’.

"Being an upcoming artist, AWA was a dream to work with. We had a jam packed day of shooting and everything came together because we had the right crew and attitude on set. Creating these little worlds within such an old regal building made for an enjoyable day of shooting and taking over the space as the visuals was supposed to do. Thank you to all the creatives involved, Colombia Records, FAMILIA and the all people making it all happen," said Adriaan. 

Notes the team at FAMILIA: “Location proved to be one of the most important factors in nailing the amazing treatment that Adriaan had developed. The vibe of the track was composed and self-confident but with a bounce. We wanted to find a location that showcased top shelf extravagance and then frame it in a way that AWA and her friends looked at home in, a mix of Cribs and Through The Keyhole. We had an amazing camera and lighting team, huge shout outs to Olan Collardy (DOP), Gary Kent (Steadi) and Esteban Gimplewicz and their teams that managed to nail the aesthetic in VERY tight spaces without damaging any of the ancient artefacts.”
