OMD are delighted to announce that they have retained the $12M SCA Hygiene Australasia account following a local competitive pitch in Australia. The account was retained in Australia, despite a global alignment to another media network last year.
SCA Hygiene is a foundation client from OMD’s entry into the Australian market in 2000. The contract, which is hubbed out of OMD Melbourne, incorporates media strategy, planning, buying and search for the Libra, Tena, Handee, Deeko and Sorbent brands.
This extension by SCA Hygiene Australasia is testament to the long standing relationship with OMD which has seen collaboration on a number of notable brand campaigns. Andrew Phillips, Executive General Manager, Personal Care, SCA Hygiene Australasia commented, “SCA has had a productive history with OMD over many years and we are delighted to be extending our partnership.”
Steve Sinha, Managing Director OMD Melbourne added, “SCA are a foundation client of OMD Australia and our partnership means an awful lot to us. SCA is a business that focuses on strategic thinking and innovation that is linked to business results - and very much aligns with OMD’s philosophy. We look forward to contributing to SCA’s continued success in Australia as we remain very passionate about their business”.
