After an extensive and exhaustive search, Ogilvy

take up the role of chief strategy officer, Ogilvy Sydney.
Harrison
returns to Sydney after a three-year stint at adam&eveDDB,
London where he won the IPA Grand Prix for effectiveness. Recently, as
head of strategy, he jointly ran a 30-strong planning department, and as
part of the management team, helped steer the agency to back to back
'Campaign Agency of the Year' awards and Cannes Agency of the year
awards.
Prior to his time in the UK,
Harrison worked at Droga5 Sydney, The Monkeys and BMF.
Harrison
brings a wealth of international and local experience to the agency,
adding further grunt to its already established strategy and planning
capabilities.
CEO Ogilvy Australia, David Fox said it was an important appointment for
Ogilvy Sydney, with both the agency and its clients fortunate
beneficiaries of Harrison's significant strategic knowledge and
expertise across almost every major category.
Says Fox: "We are
delighted Toby is returning to Sydney to join our senior management
team. We searched far and wide to find the right mix of experience and
fit for Ogilvy and this role. Toby is an exceptional individual and has
proven himself as a respected strategist and leader at the highest
level.
"He'll be leading an outstanding team and am sure will make real impact on its future growth."
Says
Harrison: "The new line-up at Ogilvy really impressed me. So, it's
flattering to be able to join a team with such ambition, potential and a
world-class client list. I can't wait to get my knees under the table."
