Ogilvy Public Relations Indonesia will support the World Economic Forum as its public relations provider for the upcoming East Asia forum in Jakarta 19-21 April, 2015.
Ogilvy PR will be assisting the forum in welcoming over 500 senior decision-makers from various public and private sectors to explore how enhancing trust can improve regional cooperation and advance critical decisions for accelerating sustainable socio-economic development.
“We are very happy for the return of the World Economic Forum on East Asia to Jakarta,” says Ogilvy Public Relations Indonesia managing director Marianne Admardatine.
“Coming a few months after the elections, we are hoping that the eyes of the world will see the many changes that have come to Indonesia. The media will be seeing a very different Jakarta than from the last time they were here!”
“It is the perfect time for the Forum to be back in the region,” says Fon Mathuros, senior director, head of media, World Economic Forum. “Our participants have the opportunity to learn more about Indonesia, its newly elected government and the ASEAN Economic Community spanning 16 countries and more than 600 million people.”
