Ogilvy Health Appoints Health Tech Agency Leader Dan Blomfield as MD of Its Singapore Hub

Ogilvy Health has appointed health tech leader Dan Blomfield as managing director of its Singapore operations. The move comes as a response to the growing importance of Singapore as a hub for pharmaceutical and health tech companies in the APAC region – and further strengthens the agency’s ability to innovate in one of the world’s most progressive, tech- led healthcare markets.

Reporting into WPP Health Practice International CEO, Claire Gillis, Dan will be responsible for expanding the business in Singapore, working with local and regional clients to develop creative solutions to their broad communications challenges. Dan has a long history of unlocking innovation for healthcare clients, with a diverse mix of global and start-up agency experience across EU and APAC healthcare communications.

Prior to joining Ogilvy Health, Dan was client services director for MIMS, Asia’s largest HCP network and medical communications company. He previously worked in a similar role for Incuna, a health tech agency headquartered in the UK and Singapore, focussed on blending technology with scientific insights and compliance.

Dan will leverage these global and APAC Rx digital insights across all of Ogilvy Health in Singapore’s client partnerships, with a vision to establish the agency as the region’s leader in strategic and creative scientific and medical communications.
