Independent agency Officer & Gentleman announced today the promotion of Mónica Gramunt and Luis Álvarez to the position of associate creative directors. The pair, who first joined the agency in 2016, have risen through the ranks, taking on additional responsibilities and leadership roles while producing campaigns that have been awarded at Cannes, The One Show, Clios, New York Festivals and El Sol.
According to Alex Katz and Javi Íñiguez de Onzoño, executive creative directors and co-founders of Officer & Gentleman, “Mónica and Luis have been an integral part of our agency’s success since they first walked through our doors. Their hard work, dedication and leadership has been invaluable to us, and this promotion marks the next step in their trajectory and our continued trust in their abilities.”
The creative team is behind some of the agency’s most memorable campaigns including ‘The Dirtiest Porn Ever’, ‘Fuck Your Period’ and ‘LifePlan’ for Pornhub, ‘Come Out and Play’ and ‘Tiger’s Back’ for Paddy Power, ‘30 Years Young’ for Pull&Bear, ‘Crea Tu Suerte’ for Betfair – to name a few – as well as other local and international work for brands like Booking.com, Beefeater, Netflix, Colvin, HBO, Cartier and, most recently, Prime Video. Last year, Mónica was named one of The One Club’s top 10 Next Creative Leaders of 2021.
