Great Guns has started the year off with a BANG! It seems Great Guns started 2011 as they ended 2010, with a volley of productions including work in the UK office from Fried, Calum Macdiarmid, Shearer and Olly Blackburn. Robert Erdman also shot 3 films for Oxfam through RKCR/Y&R, his first foray into moving pictures. They are busy in the Asian office currently shooting a Hennessy spot for Bravo Asia, Jonty Toosey just completed the new Clear (Unilever) campaign for AKQA , and Calum Macdiarmid has just been awarded Nestea for Weiden & Kennedy. In the US office Eric Saarinen is working on projects for Energy BBDO (Chicago) and Campbell Mithun (Minneapolis) and Eden Tyler just wrapped a Clean & Clear spot for DDB India. So they are starting the year as they mean to go on.
Last week Little Black Book visited the London offices to see the Great Guns team and couldn’t help notice their stunning refurb. We get to travel a lot and are lucky to meet fabulous people from all over the world in post houses, agencies and prod cos and are always excited to see what surroundings each company has chosen to represent themselves. These offices are so damn fine, that we have actually devoted a news story to them. We’ll call this rare departure “Ode to Great Guns HQ”.
The office was designed by production designer Nanna Friborg, who works with Lars Von Trier in her native Denmark. Nanna has created a lovely look and feel that wouldn’t be out of place in your favourite boutique hotel! We have a feeling Great Guns clients (and staff) are going to enjoy spending more time there than ever. Take a look at the pics below -
