Ocean Spray Puts Some Jiggle into Your Holidays

Launching across digital and TV, Ocean Spray has released its latest campaign for the holiday season which is sure to get you wiggling and jiggling at the Thanksgiving table this year. Directed by Jeff Low and produced by OPC, the spot is titled 'Power Your Holiday' and uses the hypnotising wibbly-wobbly nature of Ocean Spray's jellied cranberry sauce to turn a Thanksgiving feast into a frantic rave. The rule about not playing with your food has certainly gone out the window.

The campaign also marks the cranberry company's first piece of content with creative agency of record, Orchard - formerly known as 'Lightning Orchard'. Helmed by the creative brains of David Kolbusz, the spot takes the signature wiggling and jiggling of Ocean Spray's tinned sauce and explores the idea through a slightly surreal but contagious and confident group dance at the dinner table. As the cranberry sauce jiggles with increasing fervour, the dinner guests become entranced and break out into a frenzy of shaking, wobbling and rhythmic thrashing, becoming the backup dancers for the star of the show: three splendid, upturned tins of jellified cranberry sauce.

This delicious disco wouldn't be complete without an equally sensational soundtrack, however! The spot features an original track, composed and recorded by Mack Goudy Jr - a member of Michigan's electronic music maestros, The Detroit Grand Pubahs. If you feel like cooking up a storm and shaking like a leaf this holiday season, you too can get in on the wiggly Thanksgiving action, as the track will also be available to listen to on Spotify.
