OB Management's Jonathan Schey Directs BBC Three Pilot 'Dinosaur'

If you’re looking for new comedy blood, check out the charming, original pilot Dinosaur for BBC Three, directed by emerging narrative director Jonathan Schey. A witty and sensitive drama that tells the story of Nina, a young, autistic woman who seeks solace in palaeontology while struggling to navigate the complicated and disingenuous world of modern dating. 

The twenty-minute pilot stars stand-up comedian Ashley Storrie in her debut acting performance, acclaimed comedy actor and writer Vicki Pepperdine and was produced by Two Brothers, the award-winning production company who brought the likes of Fleabag, Back To Life and The Missing to our screens.

Deriving from TV and narrative shorts, Jonathan is known for capturing the gloriously normal and epically mundane. He rose to fame directing Ladhood, a boisterous hit series for BBC Three, written by and starring comedian Liam Williams that has just wrapped on its hotly anticipated 2nd series.

Having previously directed advertising campaigns for Hackett, Treatwell and Kano, Jonathan is keen to continue collaborating with brands to tell stories that capture the warmth and humility in the everyday.
