Lowe China Chairman/CEO Kitty Lun announces the promotion of Norman Tan to Vice Chairman/Chief Creative Officer, with immediate effect. Norman Tan will continue to oversee the creative output of Lowe in China and Hong Kong, and will continue to assist Kitty Lun in developing the agency.
“Norman has been with us for three and a half years. The difference he made is marvelous:” said Kitty Lun, “not only in the quality of our output, but also the type of creative people he attracts and recruits. We have been able to cement existing client relationship and develop new ones. Norman’s relentless drive in our creative output is significant, impacting on our performance in local and international creative award shows. A vivid example is our two shortlists this year in the toughest Cannes Film category. Norman is also instrumental in our multiple wins of new businesses, from cognac to cars, from e-Commerce to beer, and much more. We are in a growth phase now. We’ve got good momentum. And Norman will certainly have tremendous contribution to our mission in shaping the agency and be future ready, both in business development and in talent development.”
“It is my honour to work with a great management team and a group of reliable and talented people here at Lowe China,” said Norman. “I strongly believe it is all about trust, and creating good work to build great brands – for us, for our clients and partners, for the industry, and for China!”
Lowe China’s main clients include Unilever (Omo, Zhonghua, Cif, Knorr, Cornetto, Magnum, and 15+ other brands), SGM Buick, Remy Martin, Heineken, Alipay, etc. In his new role, Norman Tan will work alongside Kitty Lun and together with the Lowe China leadership team to bring the agency to new heights.
