The spot by john st. ‘A Cart Apart’ teaches Canadians how to stay safe and #HaulResponsibly during the pandemic

no frills Drops Summer Anthem…and it Doesn’t Suck!

Canadian grocery no frills did what no other grocery store has done before by dropping this summer’s hottest track, ‘A Cart Apart’, made by john st. Half banger, half PSA, the first track from the discount retailer teaches Canadians what it means to #HaulResponsibly, as we all adjust to life during Covid-19. From social distancing to not hoarding staple items, the track walks customers through the do’s and don’ts of safe grocery shopping.

A reminder to customers that everybody has a role to play in keeping each other safe, the track is also a celebration of no frills employees across the country, working each day to keep customers safe, happy and fed.

The champion line of the track is, "Keep A Cart Apart. Stay six feet at least or A Cart Apart", but the more you listen, the more you are pulled into the other messaging like; KEEP CALM AND HAULER ON, part of their “Hauler” brand message, repeated in creative ways throughout the song.

The accompanying music video can be viewed on YouTube and across no frills social media channels now and will be available for streaming in the coming days on Spotify and iHeartRadio. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, each time you view or stream ‘A Cart Apart’, they will donate $1 to the President’s Choice Children’s Charity (to a maximum of $50,000). By streaming this song, you are helping support President’s Choice Children’s Charity, as they continue to reach vulnerable children with food during Covid-19 closures across Canada.
