Nissan Teams Up with Omar Epps

 

A powerful first impression makes all the difference. For anyone looking to put their best foot forward, Nissan is introducing the “Impress With Sentra" program, an interactive Facebook experience where participants can create and share a personalized video featuring award-winning actor Omar Epps (House, M.D.; Love and Basketball) providing them with a glowing introduction.
 
Starting today, upwardly mobile Facebook users can visit ImpressWithSentra.com to have Epps talk them up as an incurable romantic, an adrenaline junkie or a business dynamo in a customized, shareable video. Participants will also be able to enter to win one of three grand prizes: a $1,000 Great American Days Experience gift card for an adventure-filled day for two, a one-night stay at an upscale hotel and dinner at an exclusive restaurant for a romantic night for two, or a $1,000 Nordstrom or Brooks Brothers gift card for a stylish new wardrobe. Contest entries will be accepted until 11.59 p.m. EDT on May 1st.

The “Impress With Sentra” program was concepted and created by Nissan and TBWA\Chiat\Day LA. “To celebrate the new Nissan Sentra, we have created a shareable and fun experience that position Nissan fans in their greatest light” said TBWA\Chiat\Day LA Creative Directors, Karl Dunn and Tito Melega. “The options of how they would like to be portrayed by Epps, link back to the qualities sported by the Nissan Sentra.”
 
Inspired by the all-new 2013 Nissan Sentra, Nissan developed the "Impress With Sentra" program to build awareness of the vehicle among potential customers looking for a stylish and fuel-efficient small car. Sentra's all-new design is elegant, modern and refined, reflecting a "professional" character targeted at upwardly bound buyers who aspire to drive something more premium than some of the other designs in the segment. The Sentra focuses on class-above design standards inside and out, as well as efficiency in engineering. Not surprisingly, the all-new seventh generation design stands as the most innovative and sophisticated Sentra in the nameplate's 30-year history.
