Uncommon creative Nina Beyers' new project is hoping to empower women to love their bodies in aid of cancer awareness month

In aid of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, Uncommon creative Nina Beyers teamed up with Curious Productions photographer Charlotte Oldman for Nina’s Nips, a T-shirt brand with a difference. The T-shirts showcase a range of trendy boob pun illustrations designed by a selection of illustrators from all over the globe.

By designing and creating the T-shirts as well as hosting a quirky and hilarious boob pun Instagram, @ninas_nips, Nina’s project aims to empower women to love their boobs and bodies, as well as demonstrating important step by step checks and facts about women’s health.

The t-shirts are for sale on Nina's website - www.ninasnips.com - with all profits donated to breast cancer charity, Coppafeel - https://coppafeel.org/. Charlotte captured the images and Curious Productions donated the shoot studio time.

Some of the contributing illustrators are: Tyler Spangler, Broken Isn’t Bad, Cocorrina Studio, Camilla Rosa, Jeannie Phan, Craig and Karl, Mariano Peccinetti, Stina Persson and Daren Thomas Magee.

"My first mission is to celebrate women's boobs of all shapes and sizes because they are all bloody wonderful. Whether they are small, big, have stretch marks, have scars, are breastfeeding... let's celebrate them all! The second mission is to address the fact that if we don't know our own boobs then how can we be informed of breast cancer that may develop in them? So by talking and joking about your own lovely pair it may lead into a life saving conversation. If people are educated in the medical symptoms of breast cancer they will hopefully won't be afraid ask what's right or wrong in their own pair." said Nina.

Charlotte added: "The project for me has been an amazing collaboration of women, coming together and celebrating each other. It was a real privilege to photograph so many different women all with amazing stories and backgrounds and extremely gratifying to be around these women who were immediately encouraging and supportive of each other. Us women need more of this and it was a joy to be a part of!"
