Mobile agency Nimbletank has appointed David Skerrett to the position of Managing Partner. Previously Director of Mobile & Social Platforms at R/GA, Skerrett will be responsible for further enhancing the agency’s capability by developing the client services team, strategy teams as well as media planning and analytics teams. Skerrett’s appointment highlights Nimbletank’s drive to boost its pool of top-level talent to meet its aggressive growth plans.
With 14 years of digital experience and 4 years in Head of Mobile positions, Skerrett brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the Nimbletank role. During the 2 years at R/GA he was responsible for developing the agency’s Mobile Social Platforms (MSP) offering in EMEA for the agency, devising campaigns for Diageo’s Baileys, O2, Unilever, Getty and Heineken. Prior to this, as Head of Social Media & Mobile at EHS 4D Group (now Havas EHS), he was responsible for setting up and running the agency group's social media and mobile offering as well as developing mobile strategy and m-sites for a range of brands such as Peugeot, Barclays and IBM. Skerrett also holds the role of EMEA Board Director of the Mobile Marketing Association.
With this unique skill-set of mobile, strategic and creative experience, Skerrett will further bolster Nimbletank’s core proposition of making brands and companies mobile first through strategic planning, creativity and innovation. He will manage all client relationships, some of which include ASOS, Thompson Reuters, Orange, Universal Music Group.
