The Dutch director quit his career as an agency art director and has spent the last decade directing unconventional and exhilarating food and drink commercials. Brands from Birra Morretti to Nutella and McDonalds have sought his unique style. He’s all about beating the clutter and creating films which stand out, doing whatever he needs to do to make a script into an epic ad. Brands often view him as a hybrid director as his talent covers not only the sensational food part but also live action and performance.
