CoinFlip partnered with small agency of the year, Quality Meats, to create the ‘Normal People Crypto’ campaign to support the launch of its new product Olliv

CoinFlip, an award-winning fintech company powered by cryptocurrency, partnered with small agency of the year, Quality Meats, to create the ‘Normal People Crypto’ campaign to support the launch of its new product Olliv, a next-generation platform that makes it easy for everyone to invest in and use crypto in their everyday lives.

Historically, crypto campaigns were targeted toward people who were already users in the space and made it feel like an intimidating industry for everyone else who didn’t know where to start. Olliv’s first advertisement campaign, 'Normal People Crypto’, showcases how simple it can be to use crypto as a normal part of life. Whether it's sending money to your family abroad, paying a handyman, or exploring the digital economy, Olliv is there to make your journey safe and simple. The campaign showcases the irony of the groups of people that usually use crypto – such as millionaires that have islands named after them or flashy tech gurus with mansions and jet packs.

"Historically, crypto has often felt like it was only for tech bros or the wealthy elite,” said Steve Gradman, chief marketing officer of CoinFlip. “In reality, the opportunity that blockchain technology provides should be available to the masses. But how do we reach them? We really enjoyed Quality Meat’s playful take on targeting “normal people” which really signifies how we view the future of digital assets as a part of daily life.”

The campaign built in partnership with Quality Meats, addresses the fears that normal everyday people might have around crypto. It tackles the scepticism, confusion, and intimidating environment associated with crypto and its culture head-on, ultimately positioning the new product as “Crypto for Olliv us.”

“To the everyday person, the word ‘crypto’ alone might feel intimidating, especially when it’s hard to find a place to start,” said Ella Wypasek, VP of marketing at CoinFlip. “We recognised there are millions of people across the world who want to join the digital economy but the technology behind it isn’t always easy to use. We want to empower them with a platform that is simple, frictionless, and most importantly safe. This ad feels relatable while also acknowledging that many people have felt ignored or confused by the world of crypto.”

Amid challenging market conditions, CoinFlip remained a trusted resource for customers showcasing dedication to industry compliance and transparency. In doing so, the company demonstrated impressive growth, nearly doubling its headcount and expanding its ATM presence to Puerto Rico, Canada, and Australia. The company’s 2022 revenue exceeded $100 million and its team is projected to grow by 23% by the end of 2023. CoinFlip’s exceptional growth has been recognised by Crain’s Chicago Business, which named it the No. 1 fastest-growing company in Chicago for two consecutive years and by Inc. 5000, where it has ranked within the top 100 in 2021 and 2022. With the launch of Olliv, CoinFlip solidifies its position as a leader in the financial revolution fueled by cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

Starting today, Olliv is offered in the United States and Puerto Rico, except for Alaska, Iowa, New York, Oregon, Nevada, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Vermont with intentions to expand in accordance with local regulation.
