New Director Tom Noaks Joins Photoplay


Photoplay is pleased to announce that it has signed young filmmaker Tom Noakes for commercial representation. Tom Noakes, an AFTRS graduate, is a young and talented filmmaker who cut his directing teeth in the emerging digital playground of virals, music videos and skater films. These formative years saw him honing his skill as well as experimenting with his own visual effects and design work. Over the last year Tom Noakes has crossed into the commercial world, attracting attention in 2011 for his clever execution on a Fisher & Paykel TV campaign for Clemenger Sydney.

Tom Noakes joins Photoplay with producer Belinda Dean, who established herself in the UK working at Moxie Pictures in London with comedy greats Wes Anderson, Jared Hess and Frank Todaro. She
returned to Australia in 2010 and looks forward to a long collaboration with Tom. Tom & Belinda just finished their first commercial through Photoplay for Nicabate and Whybin\TBWA Sydney.
