Final Frontier this week announced the signing of Turin-based studio, Nerdo, to its global roster.
Nerdo specialises in 2D and 3D character animation, motion graphics, and mixed media, with writing and storytelling a key focus. Notable clients across the company’s 10-year history have included Nike, Netflix, Ho. Mobile, McDonald’s and Yamaha along with various self-initiated original shorts and experimental films. Among many industry prizes, the studio has picked up eight Promax Awards, a Motion Awards and been a Vimeo Staff Pick on multiple occasions.
The announcement comes off the back of the duo’s first collaboration, a 3D motion graphics launch film for Chinese electronics and mobile communications company, OPPO.
Nerdo executive producer and co-founder, Diego Pizziconi, says: “We really believe that being among the FF roster is like being part of a big family. We are honoured to be listed alongside the top tier of creative companies from all over the world, and thrilled to collaborate with such a great team of artists. Quality and creativity have always been part of Nerdo’s DNA, and we are excited to now scale up our reach with FF, a company that shares our vision, and will help us face new challenges. We are more than ready!”
Final Frontier executive producer Gus Karam says: “We’ve been big fans of Nerdo since the beginning. They are masters of their craft, but at the same time always growing, experimenting and pushing their work in all kinds of wild new directions. We’re buzzing about the work we’re going to create together. I know this is going to be a beautiful match.”
