Native Signs Coliena Rentmeester
Native is excited to announce the signing of Coliena Rentmeester to their growing collective of talented directors. Rentmeester comes to Native with an extensive and lauded background in fashion, portraiture, and travel photography. Her photographic eye translates beautifully to commercial direction and quickly captured the attention of Native founder and EP, Tomer Devito.
Rentmeester has directed fashion-focused commercials for high-profile companies, such as OpenSky.com’s "Join. Shop. Love." for DW + H, Clark’s, Nordstrom, OshKosh, and David’s Bridal; and co-directed Elizabeth Arden's "Pretty" and "Red Door"; J Crew's "Praha,” and Target’s "Calypso," with director and husband Tom Dey, also represented by Native. Her photographic work has appeared internationally in publications such as W, The New York Times Magazine, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ; and for clients such as J. Crew, Quiksilver, the Gap, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Target, Ralph Lauren, and Anthropologie. Rentmeester has lent her eye to top celebrities including Owen Wilson, Scarlett Johansson, Matthew McConaughey, and Warren Zevon.
