The National Advertising Review Board (NARB) has appointed Dan Fromm, president and COO of Kansas City agency Barkley, to its ranks.
As one of 18 members of the advertising industry’s only peer-review organisation, Fromm will play a vital role in guiding advertisers and ensuring advertising claims are in accordance with lawful guidelines.
“I’m honoured to serve as a member of this board,” said Fromm. “It’s vital that we hold ourselves and our peers accountable for the work that we do. Advertising is a complex and quickly evolving industry, and NARB upholds the highest standards with its diverse board and range of perspectives.”
NARB members are selected for their stature and experience in their respective fields.
Fromm started his career as a features producer at ESPN. He then co-founded Three Wide Marketing, where he served as president for seven years. In 2003, Fromm sold the company to Barkley and has since remained with the agency in a variety of roles. For the past five years, Fromm has served as president and COO of the agency, working with clients and internal teams to deliver work and drive business results. In 2016, Forrester named Barkley as one of the top Lead Agencies in the country, recognising it as well-suited to help brands build their business through consumer-driven strategies, experience design and communications.
