NABS will be marking Black History Month with a talk on Everyday Racism, led by one of the foremost experts in the field.
Hári Sewell is a writer and speaker in social justice, equality, race and culture in mental health. In this unmissable talk, to be held on 8 October, Hári will uncover the truth about microagressions and their impact alongside other forms of discrimination.
NABS are inviting people from across industry to attend this event, which will inspire attendees and equip them to identify and resist everyday racism wherever it plays out.
Uzma Afridi, head of careers, NABS, says: “The recent All In Census proved how much work we need to do as an industry to eradicate everyday racism in our workplaces. This excellent talk will enable people to take practical action to help make that happen.”
