Music+Sound Awards Deadline Drawing Near

This year’s International Music+Sound Awards deadline is drawing near. There’s just over a week to enter and become part of this trailblazing, global competition celebrating exceptional music and sound design within the media.

Any individual who has been involved, in any capacity, in a project significantly enhanced by a piece of music or sound design that was broadcast, published or released with client approval between 31st October 2012 and 31st March 2014 is eligible to enter.  There are best composition, best sound design, best use of sync and best use of production music categories. Commercial, feature, shorts, trailer/promo, TV show, TV branding, title sequence or video game entries are invited.

Jury member, Brian Monaco, EVP at Sony/ATV Music Publishing says, “It's really exciting to be part of the International Music and Sound Awards again this year. Providing a mark of excellence for the crafts of music and sound design is something that is long overdue and a dedicated Awards ceremony like this will once again help reward those that excel in these fields."

The competition will culminate in a celebratory party on the beach in Cannes during the Lions Festival in June.
