Felt Music has welcomed Karl Jawara as its latest music supervisor. Karl joins from BBH and has previously written and edited for 'The Most Radicalist,' bringing over a wealth of music clearance and supervision experience to the team. Felt sat down with Karl to find out a little bit more about him.
Q> So Karl, what was your first ever album?
Karl Jawara> The towering monolith that was the debut record from boy band sensation 5ive. Wall-to-wall megabangers. I stand by it.
Q> And what about your favourite album?
Karl> Oooh, that’s such a hard question, it changes all the time! I must say Björk’s ‘Homogenic’ has a very special place in my heart though. In addition to the music being rugged, moving and truly experimental, her voice is just the most astonishing thing. No one can do what she can do.
Q> Drink of choice?
Karl> A chilled white wine of course… bottle!
Q> Let’s hear how you feel about joining the team?
Karl> I’m thrilled to be joining Felt! I’ve only been here a few days but it’s been fun, challenging and very inspiring getting stuck into my new position as well as meeting the wonderful Felt team. Great vibes to be had here!
Despite only being here for a few days, Karl has taken the role by the horns and showed that he really is in his element. The team at Felt Music is extremely excited to have him on board.
