Multi-Mobility App Free Now Appoints EXP as Activations Agency

FREE NOW, Ireland’s leading multi-mobility app has appointed Ireland’s newest Activations agency EXP as their agency after a competitive pitch process.

Previously appointed agency in Ireland was ROTHCO, part of Accenture Interactive.

“FREE NOW has a simple vision – to bring the freedom and flexibility of multi-mobility to the people of Ireland with all the benefits that it entails. After the last two years, it feels like the perfect time to get back out into the world and to bring that vision to life in a fun, meaningful way. EXP got that straight away, bringing an array of strategically sound, creatively impactful ideas to us that will help FREE NOW burst into people’s lives in ways that are both memorable and meaningful’ That’s according to Jane Maher, head of marketing, FREE NOW Ireland.

FREE NOW is largely known for Taxi hailing services in Ireland but as part of its multi-mobility vision it will soon be offering a growing number of new mobility services like eScooter, eBikes, eMopeds and car sharing which it already offers in other European markets.

“We’re absolutely delighted to have been appointed as the activations agency for FREE NOW. We always work best with clients with aligned ambition and we knew from the first meeting that the whole FREE NOW team were like us - entirely focused on wanting to make brilliant work that will build their brand and business. Their response to ideas we presented was so positive, the team chemistry brilliant and we are just so excited about delivering for FREE NOW over the summer and for a long time to come.” So says Karleen Smyth, managing director, EXP.

She added: “Our focus on injecting laser sharp strategic rigour into creative brand experience was an obvious differential. For too long, experiential agencies have been producing ‘hit and hope’ work. That changes now with the arrival of EXP.”

EXP will use the data-led strategy of Boys +Girls to fuel its creative work from concept to delivery, giving it an unbeatable competitive advantage and continuing the agency’s mantra of Great Work, Works.

EXP is already working on festival activations for Three UK and Ireland and through its membership with By The Network supporting international projects for their clients like Netflix with work that will be first delivered in Q2 2022.

FREE NOW will also now work with Boys + Girls as their lead Creative Agency in Ireland, supporting the marketing team strategically and creatively as they look to continue the great success of the brand and business to date.
