This Autumn, 180heartbeats, a partner of JUNG v MATT, has opened its first foreign office, with the aim of acquiring more international businesses for the agency. The UK office is managed by Julia Konopka, one of the female leaders in the agency’s Warsaw headquarters.
180heartbeats London office benefits from being a part of the JUNG v MATT’s independent agency network, and will be powered by senior strategists, creatives and technologists, from across 12 European markets and China. The new agency will provide brands with access to the 180heartbeats’ award-winning formula of blending technology and creativity to deliver innovative new solutions via an agile workflow.
Marcin Gaworski, chief executive officer and partner at 180heartbeats comments: “The pandemic has reshaped the world. Ideas have no boundaries and this is a belief we have long embraced as an agency. It’s a part of our DNA. We have a successful track record working with a number of global clients whose operations are outside of Poland. Our technology driven solutions are also a strong example of top-level creativity - a blend that has benefited clients, including Absolut, Ballantine's, Google, Burger King, Nike, and Velux. The agency has launched successful campaigns in Central and Eastern Europe, China and Asia Pacific. The UK office is just an extension of what we’ve always done”.
Marcin continues: “With many brands scaling back marketing and advertising budgets, we feel that as an independent agency we are competitively positioned to rise to the challenge set by current market forces”.
Julia Konopka has been tasked with setting up the London operation. Julia’s appointment forms part of a commitment focused on promoting women in leadership roles. Julia, who joined 180heartbeats in 2015, currently holds the position of business development director and is responsible for brands such as Absolut, Ballantine’s and Royal Salute, as well as Nike and Huawei.
Julia Konopka, business development director says: “We believe there is richness in the diversity created within integrated teams, so we are entering the UK market with confidence, knowing that our agency set-up means we have the best blend of talent the world has to offer not only in the UK and Poland, but in the international arena in general. Warsaw is considered one of Europe’s emerging growing tech hubs so we feel confident that its growing reputation as a world-class hub for relentless tech innovations gives us an edge over our competitors. We also find our great advantage in the fact that at 180heartbeats creatives, strategists and programmers work collectively to deliver award winning world class solutions to our clients and partners.”
Over its 13-year history, 180heartbeats + JUNG v MATT has proved that its mission to ‘create brand excitement and partner with brands who want to make a change’ works well. That excitement makes consumers’ hearts beat faster and gains hearts of Ad contests’ juries. 180heartbeats has received over 300 awards and honours at international festivals, including Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, Epica, Andy, D&AD, to name a few. It was also named one of the Top 20 most effective agencies at the 20th anniversary of Effie Poland, and just recently it received the title of the Agency of the Year, according to KTR awards, Poland’s most prestigious advertising competition.
180heartbeats + JUNG v MATT recognises that working from home can present its challenges, so it has created the Ultimate Work-from-Home Toolbox. The toolkit is a perfect anecdote for modern remote working created for those wanting to stay focused and socially connected during this new normal.
