MullenLowe Welcomes Dieter Lebbe to Los Angeles Office

Dieter joins as head of production

MullenLowe U.S. has tapped award-winning Belgian executive Dieter Lebbe as its new head of production in its Los Angeles office. Dieter will oversee all day-to-day film, digital, and art production for the office across its client roster and will report to executive creative directors Laura Sampedro and Carlos Alija. The hire is one more step by the company toward putting the quality of the work at the centre and aiming for creative excellence.  

Dieter began his 20-year career producing reality TV shows like Big Brother and Fear Factor before he made the leap into the currently budget-challenged and content-thirsty world of advertising. He joined Duval Guillaume, one of Europe’s most decorated agencies, as head of TV before moving over to Caviar as executive producer, where he remained for nearly a decade. He eventually moved stateside to found Caviar Digital, expanding the company’s creative footprint into new media content and digital storytelling.  

Dieter switched back to the agency side, joining Droga5 as executive producer and later TBWA\CHIAT\DAY NYC. In the past couple of years, he produced global campaigns for Netflix, Levi’s, Headspace, Dolby, and others for 72andSunny, AKQA, and GUT. 

“Dieter is a valuable addition to our team with his diverse experience and passion for content, ranging from commercials and branded entertainment to TV shows and digital media,” stated Carlos. “We look forward to seeing him push our teams to think differently in this challenging economic landscape in order to maintain the highest level of creativity and production value,” added Sampedro.
