Mr. President Appointed as Creative Agency for Old Pulteney Whisky

Whisky brand, Old Pulteney, has appointed independent creative agency, Mr. President, as lead strategic and creative agency to work across their global business.

Old Pulteney is a standout coastal malt founded in 1826 in the town of Wick, one of the most northerly areas on the Scottish mainland. It has a rich history and a close connection to the sea; the distillery remains a mainstay in Wick, producing 1.3million litres of single malt scotch whisky annually. The brand has high growth targets for 2025 and aims to build the brand and business further in the UK and other key global markets.

The appointment follows a competitive pitch led by intermediary, Creative Brief. The agency will be responsible for developing and implementing a global strategic and creative platform that can live across multiple touchpoints and act as an anchor for the brand moving forward. 

The primary aim for the partnership is to make the shift from operating in a tactical and executional manner to having a more long-term and strategic approach that will build the brand and facilitate the promotion of lots of exciting upcoming milestones including new product launches and 200-year celebration planning.
