Mother’s Vauxhall Idents Are Full of Brilliantly Understated Film References
The automotive brand’s sponsorship of Sky Cinema and Channel 5 Movies makes cinematic moments hilariously mundane
Vauxhall Motors announces new creative for its sponsorship of Sky Cinema and Channel 5 movies. The campaign aims to reach a young and ambitious British audience and the sponsorship will run for the duration of 2018.
As part of the sponsorship, Vauxhall worked with Mother and MediaCom Beyond Advertising to create a set of playful idents that allow the brand to engage with the Sky Cinema and Channel 5 movies audience. The idents will feature Vauxhall’s full range of vehicles including the ‘SUV family’ of Mokka X, Crossland X and Grandland X, plus the much loved Corsa and Insignia.
The idents are inspired by iconic lines from some of the most loved films, putting them into everyday British scenarios, familiar with the Vauxhall brand. Juxtaposing British culture with iconic film language, the sponsorship aims to bring the glitz of movies into everyday situations.

The creative will run across Sky Cinema and Channel 5 Movies from Saturday May 12th.
