The Talent Business has announced that this year's CREAM competition will be held at Mother London's offices.
CREAM is the annual competition held by The Talent Business, the world leader in executive search for creative businesses. CREAM supports emerging creative talent globally, by introducing them to the creative leaders of the world’s top agencies and creative businesses. Now in its 19th year, CREAM has provided a platform for creatives who have gone on to deliver famous, award-winning work, and to become high-profile CDs/ECDs as well as successful agency founders. Through CREAM, creatives have secured placements and roles at agencies including Droga5, Google Creative Lab, adam&eveDDB, Wieden+Kennedy, Ogilvy, Mother and more.
Building on The Talent Business’ commitment to ensuring CREAM is an inclusive platform that promotes diversity, they have continued to evolve the competition to ensure the inclusion of a broader cross-section of high potential young talent, on less typical routes into the industry. Working with D&AD Shift and Commercial Break, they have invited creatives, who haven’t had the benefit of college training, to join the competition. In the run up to the Private View, these talented individuals have been given an eight-week intense mentorship by Creature, Lucky Generals, BBC Creative, 4Creative and BBH who have helped them to produce work that will be showcased at the Private View alongside entrants from the top colleges worldwide.
This year The Talent Business is partnering with Mother London, who will showcase the 20 winners in a Private View exhibition at Mother’s Shoreditch offices on Thursday 12th September. This year’s high-profile judges from around the world include Nick Hulley & Nadja Lossgott (AMV BBDO), Laurent Simon (BBC Creative) and Conan Wang (TBWA, Paris), Richard Reid (Buzzfeed, LA) and Johnny Tan (72 & Sunny, APAC).
The incredible ongoing support that The Talent Business has from the hosting agency, D&AD Shift, Commercial Break and the judges all over the world, as well as those that attend the annual Private View, means that CREAM can continue to support the next generation of creative talent, and the creative leaders of the future.
Ben Heap, head of creative resource, Mother, comments: “The talent we’ve seen through CREAM this year is exceptional, and the event is designed as a platform to help them shine. Agency creative leaders will meet a new generation of superstars, and have the opportunity to introduce that fresh creative thinking to their agencies.”
Tanya Livesey, global head of creative, The Talent Business, comments: “Young creative talent is the lifeblood of our industry – so we’re thrilled that CREAM continues to be such a successful platform for giving emerging talent a leg-up into their first roles, whatever their backgrounds or routes in”
