Mother Opens for Business in Berlin

Mother, the independent creative company, has opened for business in Berlin - the first Mother in mainland Europe - with Alexander Nowak as chief creative officer and creative partner.

Mother has a heritage of identifying and attracting world-class talent, every Mother office has been opened with this in mind. With Alex, the Mother Family has appointed one of the most regarded and awarded creatives as business partner to work with the talent and vibrant business scene Berlin is rapidly becoming synonymous for.

Alex was formerly global head of art at Droga5, and worked alongside Felix Richter, now CCO at Mother London, as part of the creative leadership team at Droga5 New York office for over a decade. More details on his career and work are below.

Whilst Mother Berlin’s office is in the final phase of construction, Alex will base himself at Espressobar in Charlottenburg’s Mommsenstrasse most days - to welcome clients and potential team members with high-quality baked goods and caffeine. Mother has partnered with the family-run coffee bar and bakery as a meeting place, but also to show its support to this business - one of millions of small businesses - facing rapidly rising energy costs.
