Mother, one of the world's most respected independent creative companies, announces a new investment in °Small World. °Small World is a new company that builds curated super-teams, effectively building clients their very own creative agency for each and every brief.
Inspired in part by Mother’s operating model, °Small World curates crack teams for individual client briefs drawn from a roster of world-beating traditional and non-traditional creative talent. It is the brainchild of founders Dan Salkey (formerly in-house at Adidas) and Harvey Austin (formerly client lead at Dark Horses).
°Small World exists because of two complementary trends; firstly, in a fragmented marketing world, many brands and businesses have a range of briefs which require different combinations of teams and specialists, as well as different levels of commitment. Secondly, the pool of highly talented creative thinkers who operate on an independent basis has been growing exponentially. Most notably since the global shift in working practices, driven by a combination of workplace technology adoption, talent desires and client attitudes. °Small World uses the second trend to the benefit of the first, offering a unique solution for every brief and project.
