Momentum Worldwide Further Strengthens Creative Offering

Momentum Worldwide increases its creative credentials with the appointment of Patrick Bennett as executive creative director, New York. The new addition follows the recent appointments of James Robinson, chief creative officer, NA and David Chamberlain, chief experience design officer, NA. In the past 12 months, Momentum has hired a slew of creative appointments across North America. These appointments further strengthen the agency’s creative offering for its client base that includes American Express, Verizon and Walmart.

Bennett’s most recent role was as EVP executive creative director at iCrossing, where for five years he retooled the pure media company through training, hiring, rotating people and building processes to understand the creative space and landed the company a place on the "AdAge agency to watch" list. Bennett previously worked at agencies including Ogilvy, Digitas and R/GA. In parallel with his career, Bennett also co-founded and built an experiential travel media company called Uncommon Caribbean that encourages travel to the region that represents his Afro-Caribbean roots. The website and social channels have now grown to more than 1MM impressions each month.

James Robinson, chief creative officer at Momentum Worldwide comments: “We are always looking for talent that can push what Momentum does forward. Patrick has such a depth of experience as exactly that kind of leader. From his media and digital chops to his entrepreneurial background, he is exactly the kind of thinker we need as we navigate the ever-shifting borders between the physical and digital worlds of this thing we call experiential marketing. We are lucky to have him.”

Patrick Bennett adds: “People have been saying it loud and clear for years, but never louder than over the last 15 months: ‘it’s not what brands say, it’s what they do that matters!’ We’re all over empty platitudes and feigned relevance. So it’s no wonder, even in the face of a global pandemic disrupting traditional experiential marketing, that Momentum is on a tear. With a focus on developing rich and rewarding blended experiences, no team is better at helping brands connect meaningfully with people. And now, as we’re all enthusiastically rushing out of our homes hungry for life, it’s an absolute honor to be joining the team.”
