Total brand experience agency Momentum Worldwide, part of McCann Worldgroup, has appointed Mike Kettles as Executive Creative Director.
Kettles, formerly of KLP Euro RSCG, Greenspace and RPM, joins the Momentum Worldwide team to lead the creative offering in the UK market in a newly created role within the agency.
In previous roles, Kettles has worked on campaigns for the likes of Bacardi, Heineken, Toyota and Lego, with global scope and responsibility for creative conceptualisation through to execution. An example of his stellar creative vision and strategic execution is the Mobius award winning Heineken Thirst global experience, an experiential platform that operated in over 50 countries across a two-year period.
He will take up the post with immediate effect and work closely with the recently appointed Momentum Worldwide President - UK, Luke D’Arcy, to bring to life the new agency vision; to be the UK’s leading creative business, with Kettles being responsible for the agency product and management of the creative departments producing client work across the UK offices in both London and Manchester.
Luke D’Arcy, President - UK, Momentum Worldwide said: “Mike is a rare talent in the agency world; a strategic thinker with the creative spark to deliver innovation and stunning creative ideas. I first met him back at KLP Euro RSCG and when I took up the new UK president role at Momentum, I had no doubt who I wanted to help me roll out the new vision for the UK; his energy, enthusiasm and experience will be an invaluable asset to the agency and our client partners.”
Mike Kettles, Executive Creative Director, Momentum Worldwide commented: “Coming into Momentum has been a dream; the energy, creative hunger and focus in all the teams is inspiring, already it feels like as a team, we can achieve whatever we want to. I’ve always believed the thought behind any creative idea is what counts and I found that same thinking within Momentum, I’m keen to translate that into the work we will produce for our great stable of client partners in the coming days and months.”
