Momentum Canada has made two senior appointments to their leadership team. VP of strategy, Rodrigo Coelho, has been appointed to the role of SVP managing director, and VP of business leadership, Katie Musgrave, has been named SVP business leadership. Together, they will provide day-to-day leadership for the agency.
Rodrigo has spent over 14 years with global experiential advertising agency Momentum Worldwide, previously holding posts in both Brazil and the UK, including leading the agency’s sponsorship programs for the 2016 Rio Olympics. Most recently, Rodrigo led the strategy department in Canada, working with brands such as Coca-Cola, Nike and GM, while also playing an integral role in driving growth in the office.
Katie joined Momentum in July 2021, bringing over two decades of integrated experience from agencies including Leo Burnett, DDB, FCB and Lowe Roche. In just eight months Musgrave has had a huge impact on the agency, creating a best-in-class business leadership practice. Katie's depth and expertise in the Canadian marketing industry and Rodrigo's network and international experience will blend together to lead Momentum Canada. The dynamic of this leadership style, with creative effectiveness at its core, will champion action-driven creativity and continue to create ideas based on brand actions to earn a role in consumers' hearts and lives.
Matt Lewis recently expanded his role to include the UK to his current role as president, Canada. Lewis says, “Rodrigo and Katie are a phenomenal duo.
