The Chevrolet All-Electric Bolt EUV, out in 2022, is revealing its new models in a unique cinematic and heartfelt campaign that captures the values of optimism, fun and innovation that GM and Disney share as the brand aims to democratise the electric vehicle and make it more accessible to everyone, including families.
Tapping L.A.-based entertainment agency MOCEAN, who share a 30+ year history with Disney having created marketing campaigns for dozens of the entertainment conglomerate’s classic animated and live-action films and shows across all brands - including Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm and most recently, Disney+ - Chevy partnered with Walt Disney World to use Disney Ride IP to promote the new vehicle and its features such as Supercruise (hands-free driving) and Sport Mode. Additionally, the new Bolt EUV will offer an extended battery range which is expressed via a road trip narrative to Walt Disney World.
The campaign follows four diverse groups of families and friends road-tripping across America to Disney World in Florida, showcasing fan favourites such as Tinker Bell, the Ghosts from the Haunted Mansion, the Dumbos from the Dumbo ride, and the X-Wing and Millennium Falcon from Star Wars.
