Lee Gluckman Jr., chairman of Mobius Awards and US International Film & Video Festival, passed away on 17th August after a brief illness.
In addition to operating the advertising and film competitions, Lee was a member of the International Quorum of Motion Pictures Producers and the International Documentary Association. He also served as president of The International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT), Vienna, Austria, and operated Producers Group Ltd., which he founded in 1967 in Chicago and later relocated to Los Angeles.
Lee also was chief negotiator (producers) with SAG and AFTRA (The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) for all non-broadcast talent contracts and consulted on talent and film industry contracts.
Lee had friends throughout the world and their tributes have brought the staff comfort as they forge ahead with the current competition.
