InMobi, the world’s most powerful mobile advertising platform and Starcom MediaVest Group (SMG), the number one ranked global media network, today announced a strategic partnership to drive mobile advertising across Europe. The partnership will combine the strategic strengths of both organisations to ensure best-in-class scalable mobile advertising solutions for all SMG clients.
“Mobile is no longer an option, but an imperative for brands and this partnership puts us at the forefront of delivering the very best mobile solutions for our clients. As a European first, we have a clear competitive advantage which will lead to enormous benefits and value to our client base across Europe” says Iain Jacob, President of EMEA for Starcom MediaVest Group.
In addition to giving SMG’s clients access to InMobi’s premium mobile audiences, innovative ad formats, consumer insights and analytics, and the InMobi Exchange platform, the partnership will see the creation of a private mobile native advertising marketplace. The private marketplace will deliver premium, innovative native and video advertising opportunities to brand advertisers, allowing SMG to develop scalable but tailored solutions to meet the individual needs of all clients across Europe. As part of the partnership InMobi and SMG have formed a joint product committee to align InMobi's product roadmap with the requirements of SMG clients.
Luc Tran-Thang, President of France, Belgium and the Netherlands at SMG comments: “The capability to design and deliver mobile first strategies will be more and more important for our clients and access to technology solutions is key. This partnership accelerates our capabilities to deliver those strategies at scale.”
InMobi mobile ad platform offers brands and agencies access to over 200 million consumers across Europe through more than 100 audience personas. Its ad experiences that include video, native, and full screen ad formats have been widely recognized by the industry including the MMA Smarties awards. InMobi also recently announced the availability of mobile app audience on the InMobi Ad Exchange that brands can access programmatically.
“We are delighted to partner with SMG and deliver a variety of ad experiences to mobile consumers for global brands. This partnership reiterates InMobi’s leadership in mobile advertising, both globally and in Europe and will play a big role in bringing mobile to the center of brand-building,” said Atul Satija, Chief Revenue Officer, InMobi.
